Q: What Memory Cards are supported?

A: All Pandigital photo frames (except for the 1.8 inch) have a built in 6-in-1 memory card reader that supports CF I/II, SD, MS, MS Pro, MMC, and XD formats as well as a USB 2.0 port for USB drives.

Q: What picture, video, and audio formats are supported?

A: Pandigital photo frames support a wide variety of formats to ensure that your media will be displayed the way you intended. Although some models support more formats than others, you can be sure that the most popular formats are universally supported. Please refer to the Owner’s Manual for more detail on your particular model.

Q: How do I transfer images from my Memory Card to the Pandigital photo frame?

A: Once a Memory Card is inserted into a Pandigital photo frame, it automatically defaults to the images found on the Memory Card. To transfer images from your Memory Card to the Pandigital photo frame’s internal memory, please refer to the Quick Start Guide located in the “Downloads” section of our website.

Q: How do I transfer images from my PC to the Pandigital digital photo frame?

A: All Pandigital photo frames have “Plug & Play” compatibility with Microsoft Windows XP and 2000. This means that Pandigital photo frames are automatically recognized as an external USB device. Simply drag and drop the images from your computer’s hard drive to the Pandigital photo frame’s internal memory. For a more detailed description, please refer to the Quick Start Guide located in the “Downloads” section of our website.

Q: How do I delete images from the Pandigital photo frame’s internal memory?

A: Using either the included remote control or manual buttons found on the top of the Pandigital photo frame, navigate to “Internal Memory”. Select which type of media (photo, music, video…) you wish to delete. Move the cursor to the desired media and depress the “Setup” button. Use the arrow keys to move down to “Delete File” and depress “Enter”. When prompted, “Are you sure?”, select “Yes”. Repeat as necessary. When finished, depress the “Exit” button.

Q: Where/How can I get replacement parts?

A: All issues regarding replacement parts should reported to our Customer Service Center. Call our toll free number at 1.800.715.5354. Q: Some of my pictures do not play on my frame.

A: The only Image file format that the frame supports is JPEG, 24Bit Color.

Q: I edited my pictures in Photoshop, saved them as a JPEG but they do not display on my Picture Frame.

A: There are a few types of JPEG formats, therefore your pictures may have been saved in a incompatible format. The correct format to save images in when using Photoshop is:  JPEG - Baseline Standard. 

When saving images in Photoshop:

  1. Click Save As, see Image 1.
  2. Click OK, you will open the JPEG Options Dialogue Box, See Image 2.
  3. Choose Baseline (“Standard”) from the Format Options sections and click OK. 

Your picture should now play on your Frame.

Q: Why won’t my iTunes music files play on my frame?

A: Pandigital frames will only support and play MP3 music files. Chances are your Apple iTunes music files are in ACC format. In order for these files to play on your frame you must convert your files to MP3.

Q: My card has fallen into my frame, what can I do?

A: Please call technical support at 800-715-5354 for assistance; you will need to send the frame to our service center.  They will supply you with detailed instructions when you call.

Q: My images appear to be cut off or cropped when the slide show plays.

A: In the Set up menu there is a setting for Optimal and Original, except Pan56 Models. The Optimal setting will display an image so that it fills the LCD screen, and may crop you images. The original Setting will display the largest image possible without cropping your image. This may display an image with some black lines one or more sides.

Q: Are there any firmware upgrades available for my frame?

A: At the current time firmware is not available for down load. Should new versions of the firmware become available they will be posted on the Downloads section of the website.

Q: I can‘t remove the battery tray of the remote control.   If I force it out I am afraid it will break. What should I do?

A: In order to get the battery compartment on the remote open, please try to push the small part towards the large part and use your finger nail to slide the draw open.

Q: My Frame will not power on.

A: Please try the following:

  1. Confirm that the AC Adaptor is fully pressed into the frame and the AC Adaptor is plugged into the wall.
  2. Try a different Wall Outlet.
  3. Call PanDigital Technical Support at 800-715-5354 for further assistance.

Q: I copied a song from my CD to my frame, and the music will not play.

A: Music files copied directly from a CD will not play on your frame. All music needs to be converted to a MP3 format, and then copied to your frame.

Q: The Frame will not play a slide show. Only the Pandigital Splash Screen is displayed.

A: The Frame's internal memory may possibly be corrupted. In order to correct this problem you need to format the Frames internal memory.

CAUTION!  Formatting the internal memory will erase all of the images you have stored on the frame.

To format the Internal Memory:

  1. Connect the frame to the PC via the USB Cable
  2. Double click on the My Computer Icon
  3. Right click on the PanDigital drive
  4. A new dialogue box will appear, starting with Open and ending with Properties. Please select Format.
  5. A new Dialogue box will open, Click on the Quick Format. 
  6. Then Click Start.
  7. Once completed, click OK.
  8. Re-transfer the images back to the frame.

Q: The User’s Manual states the Frame Stand can Extend; I am having trouble doing that.

A: Most frames offer an extendable stand for viewing convenience. In order to extend the stand (depending on which model) you must lift the stand outwards, proceed to pull or expand the stand. Note: Some models require that slide a button on the stand in order to extend it.

Q: I cannot find the USB Cable that came with my frame; how can I get another?

A: The USB Cable that comes with the frames is a standard, off the shelf, Type A to Mini B USB Cable.  They are available from any store that sells computer peripherals and supplies. You may already have a compatible USB Cable that came with a Phone, Camera or other similar device.

Q: I am looking to full out my registration form, and I cannot find the Serial Number on my frame.

A: The serial numbers as well as the model number are located on the back of the frame under the frame stand. If your frame has a model number label but does not have a serial number, which would be 16 numbers long, please put “No Serial Number on Frame”.
